Thanks to Ruby, we now have an album of beautiful & unique wedding images! Her efficiency at replying to emails and answering our questions meant we had no problems knowing our first meeting would be on our actual wedding day (Perth, Western Australia).
Like most couples, we were slightly nervous at the thought of being photographed all day (let alone being centre of attention!) Ruby's experience and sense of humour made it SO easy and fun, we were most nervous about the 'portrait' shots but through her direction they appear natural and 'un-posed', we absolutly love them! From the portrait shots to the candid ones, they are gorgeous!
I would have no hesitation recommending Ruby Yeo to other couples considering a photographer for their "Big Day", they would be a very lucky couple to have her.

When I was looking for a wedding photographer, I knew what I wanted but couldn’t find anyone who fit the bill. Finding someone who we felt comfortable with and trusted to create something beautiful for us to remember our most special day together was harder than I thought it would be. On the day itself Ruby and Artur were punctual, upbeat and ready for action!There was an unexpected moment for me when the local Government turned the water off and my bridesmaid and I had to wash in the swimming pool. Ruby managed to capture this hilarity and the photos made our final selection!
Throughout the day both photographers were incredible to work with and feedback from our guests said whilst not a moment was missed, Ruby and Artur remained discreet.
Ruby edited the photos impressively quickly given the volume and provided us with a fabulous and large selection of digital images. We chose to create a photo book using artifact uprising and the results were incredible.
I often hear brides to be complain about photographers costs. My advice is that generally you get what you pay for and considering your photographs are the visual memory of your day, don’t just make do! Ruby’s rates are competitive for the service she offers and not for a second did we regret our choice.
A huge thank you to the dynamic duo who captured our wedding day perfectly. We enjoyed your company and adored the results.

We were drawn to Ruby’s photography because she offered something a bit different that fitted how we wanted to remember our wedding day. Capturing every moment whether it be a small detail ‘a glance ‘ or the perfect posed shot, Ruby and husband Artur didn’t miss a moment.
During our consultation we met at our venue and talked through the order of events as we were only having photos taken on the day itself. We felt Ruby really understood what we liked but most importantly she showed creativity and flare when selecting locations for different shots throughout the venue. Ruby was absolutely amazing from the get go. After we saw a few previous weddings she shot, we just had to get in contact with her. She was living overseas at the time so we met by Skype, and immediately knew she was perfect for us when we got in an animated conversation about our shared love of food! She fit right into our wedding and was warm, casual, and very professional. It was like having an extra friend there, but one we could count on to take amazing photos. Ruby had to deal with very tricky lighting conditions because of the location, the time of the day, the dappled light from trees, and low lighting at the reception at night, but she did an incredible job to give us so many beautiful shots of the whole event. She absolutely exceeded expectations with the number of photos as well.

I didn't offer much direction and initially felt weird about having camera's around while I had no make up on and curlers in my hair, but Ruby with her amazing attitude put me at ease and I completely forgot that the camera's were there and even felt like she and Christine were guests at my wedding. Ruby has the creative eye you need for your wedding photography. I didn't even realise how epic our photo's were going to be until I received them in the mail and got to see the full pictures! Ruby was just absolutely amazing, we felt like we hit the jackpot in choosing her as our photographer! When visiting Ruby's website for the first time, we absolutely loved all the pictures, and instantly knew we wanted her to shoot at our wedding. What a smart decision. From the first exchange of emails, we understood that Ruby was a cheerful, happy, enjoyable and funny person but also very organized and professional. And that made the various shooting sessions during the wedding moments of pure pleasure.
Ruby reassured us, talked to us, proposed ideas, advised us, while listening to our suggestions and quickly understanding our expectations and requirements. She was absolutely everywhere without us noticing her. Ok, she's tiny, but I'm still wondering how she could get all those pictures with so many different angles, while not disturbing at all either the ceremony or the other moments of the wedding AND find some time to mingle with the guests and chat with us...
This is the first time ever that I hear almost all the wedding guests complimenting the photographer, who made everybody comfortable, was taking pictures very fast, and was so kind and funny. The result is absolutely stunning. Quality, composition, light. Pictures are perfect and we can't stop looking at them.
